Versailles announced for KNOTFEST Mexico 2026 alongside Bad Omens and Lamb Of God

Versailles have joined the line-up for KNOTFEST Mexico 2026, taking place on December 5th at Estadio Fray Nano in Mexico City.

Hosted by Slipknot, the festival will see the Japanese symphonic metal band share the bill with Bad Omens, Lamb Of God, Poppy, The Ghost Inside, Blood Incantation, Sylosis, and Vana. It will be Versailles’ debut appearance at KNOTFEST, placing them on one of the largest stages in modern metal.

Formed in 2007 by vocalist KAMIJO and guitarist Hizaki, Versailles’ blend of neoclassical guitar work, dramatic arrangements and melodic power metal has made them one of visual kei’s most recognisable exports, helping drive the scene’s expansion beyond Japan.

Alongside the festival announcement, Versailles have also confirmed a headline show in Santiago, Chile on December 3rd at Teatro Coliseo, their first solo performance in the country in a decade, and their first headline show in three years.

In July, Versailles will headline B7KLAN J-ROCK FEST in Paris, Europe’s first festival dedicated entirely to visual kei. Just days later, frontman KAMIJO will take to the stage in Los Angeles for his Signature U.S. debut performance, SANCTUS OF THE DAMNED, at The United Theater on Broadway.
