YOSHIKI returns to the US stage with two nights at Walt Disney Concert Hall this July

YOSHIKI will perform at The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on July 16th and 17th, the composer and pianist has announced. The two shows, titled Scarlet Night and Violet Night, mark his return to the US stage following cervical spine surgery in late 2024, with a different setlist planned for each night.

The performances are part of his Classical 2026 series, which he describes as a “rebirth”, blending cinematic compositions with new sonic ideas.

Speaking about the shows, YOSHIKI said:

“To perform at (The Music Center’s) Walt Disney Concert Hall is an honor, and in this moment it’s personal. After my surgery, I wasn’t sure when I would return to the stage. These two nights are a celebration of resilience and the bond I share with my fans. Of course there will be classical piano, but I also want to push beyond the traditional format. I’m experimenting with new sounds and new ideas: something emotional, powerful, and explosive.”

YOSHIKI recently became the first Japanese artist to perform at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hegra in Saudi Arabia, playing a candlelit concert among the Nabataean tombs. Earlier in 2026, he also appeared alongside Josh Groban in Japan and joined the Jonas Brothers on stage at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. On March 29th, he performed Japan’s national anthem at the Formula One Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka. His upcoming three-night run at Tokyo Garden Theater this April sold out immediately.

The announcement also caught the attention of Versailles vocalist KAMIJO, whose own LA show falls the very next day on July 18th. “YOSHIKI’s LA concert is just one day apart from my LA show”, he wrote on X. “That was really close… I’m still kind of shaken. But I definitely want to go see it!”.

Named in TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025, YOSHIKI has sold over 50 million records across his career. In 2024, he became the first Japanese artist to receive a hand and footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Alongside music, his work extends into fashion, film, and philanthropy through YOSHIKI Foundation America.

Pre-sale tickets for the Los Angeles shows began on March 26th, with general sale beginning April 10th.
