ONE OK ROCK brought together 120,000 fans across two days at MUFG Stadium (Japan National Stadium) for ‘docomo presents THE MUSIC STADIUM 2026’, a large-scale event curated by the band in collaboration with NTT DOCOMO.
The shows were ONE OK ROCK’s first performances at the National Stadium, placing them among a small number of acts to have headlined the venue since its reconstruction for the 2020 Olympics. With a capacity of around 68,000, it is one of the largest stadiums in Japan. The event was also one of the first major music programmes held under its new MUFG branding, introduced in January 2026.
Featuring guest spots from UVERworld on the first night and YOASOBI on the second, the event included several on-stage collaborations. ONE OK ROCK and UVERworld’s TAKUYA∞ shared the stage for ‘Naihi Shinsho’, while YOASOBI’s ikura joined Taka and Toru for an acoustic version of ‘Wherever you are’ on the second night. Additional appearances came from Paledusk and CHICO CARLITO for their joint 2025 track ‘C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y.’, with Awich also joining for ‘Mighty Long Fall’, a song the pair have previously performed together.

The event was led by telecoms company NTT DOCOMO, one of the investor companies behind Japan National Stadium Entertainment (JNSE), which operates the venue. It forms part of KOKURiTSU NEXT, a wider initiative launched in 2026 to evolve the stadium beyond its sporting roots and establish it as a hub for culture and entertainment.

ONE OK ROCK were involved in the planning of THE MUSIC STADIUM 2026 from an early stage, with frontman Taka previously describing the event as an opportunity to contribute to the future of live entertainment in Japan.
