DJ SiSeN will open both days of B7KLAN J-ROCK FEST in Paris, taking the stage at Europe’s first festival dedicated to visual kei on July 11th and 12th.
A Harajuku fashion figure of the 2000s and 2010s who came up through Tokyo’s underground club scene, DJ SiSeN will play a set from 3pm to 4pm each day as the indoor venue opens.
The festival, held at Arena Grand Paris, celebrates 20 years of B7Klan’s work with Japanese artists. Its line-up features ten Japanese bands and two European guests, headlined by Versailles and Moi dix Mois, alongside MUCC, D’ESPAIRSRAY, LM.C, An Cafe, KIZU, JILUKA, Azavana, and contest winners Musyozoku.
Before the indoor programme starts, an outdoor DJ stage runs on the festival forecourt from 10am to 3pm, giving early arrivals a full day of music. DJ Kaoru Nagata from Visual-kei Night and DJ Lunacy will play the outdoor stage, joined by special guest Miura Ayme.
Miura Ayme is a visual kei solo artist, voice actor, and cosplayer who fronted the band Ecthelion before launching his solo career in 2018. He is widely known for voicing Asmodeus in the otome game and anime series Obey Me!, for which he wrote several songs.
The forecourt opens at 9am, with food trucks, an official merchandise area, and the outdoor DJ stage running through the morning. Once inside the festival site, ticket holders can move freely between the outdoor plaza and the indoor venue, which opens at 3pm.
