amazarashi will release their fully original album Nana-gosen Lost Boys on April 13th, the band’s first album release in just over 2 years.

The album will feature 11 tracks including 2021 hit single Borderline, the opening theme of the internationally acclaimed anime 86. All other tracks on the album will be brand-new songs themed on the struggles of everyday life from relationships to the meaning to life and searching for your own identity.

As well as the regular CD release there will also be a limited edition Blu-ray and first edition DVD versions of the album which will feature a full live taping of amazarashi’s performance at the Tokyo Garden Theatre in 2020.

Along with the announcement of the album frontman Hiromu Akita left this comment.

“To head for a blank future where we don’t even know where to go, first I needed to know who I was.
Why did it start and why are we living in this place right now? What has driven us to our current location?
For children who get lost in their daily lives and those who were once children.”
