It’s been over a year since one of Japan’s most internationally prominent alt-metal bands dropped their EP gravitation, but now girugamesh have announced they’ll be releasing their long-awaited mini-album chimera this January, with it’s European release due to drop in February via GANSHIN Records.

In 2014 the band celebrated their 10th anniversary, and toured extensively across Japan for a large part of 2015. Making up for their lack of action in Europe over the last year, the band have announced that the new mini-album will also include all the songs from gravitation exclusively for the European Edition of the album as well as the bonus remix track. Chimera will also come packaged with a DVD featuring live footage from the final show of their 2014-2015 one-man tour at Shinkiba Studio Coast in March 2015.

Pre-order dates for the European release have yet to be revealed, so stay tuned to GANSHIN Records on Facebook and Twitter for further info as it’s announced.
