Tokyo-based metalcore troop, Sailing Before The Wind, are set to embark on their first European tour this April.
Starting on April 5th in Billere, France, Sailing Before The Wind will hit the road for a series of seven shows, including stops in Vienna, Rorschach, and Rome. The tour will culminate in a performance at Traffic Club in Rome on April 13th.
Formed in 2011, Sailing Before The Wind have become known for their slick melodic hooks, heavy riffage, and massive breakdowns. With influences ranging from classic hard rock to modern metalcore, the band’s sound transcends genre boundaries, appealing to a diverse audience.
Led by bassist and composer Bitoku, who gained recognition as the touring bassist for Crystal Lake, Sailing Before The Wind’s sound and lineup have evolved over the years while staying true to their core identity.
Their most recent single, ‘Breath of Air’, released on February 5th, features Matt Sosa, the frontman of New York state metalcore quartet Across The White Water Tower.
