Electronic rock unit Boom Boom Satellites’ new album “EMBRACE” is now available in stores across Japan today (tomorrow for those in the West).
This album marks their 8th studio release and celebrates their 15th year anniversary. This release follows the recent news of frontman Michiyuki Kawashima’s diagnosis with a brain tumor, leading to the cancellation of 23 shows on their upcoming Embrace tour, originally scheduled from January to March 2013. Our thoughts are with Kawashima and his family, wishing him a quick and healthy recovery.
The band has also premiered a 2-hour-long 15th Anniversary Special Documentary on their YouTube channel, featuring preview tracks from their new album.
