MAXIMUM THE HORMONE announced their first London performance in 11 years as part of their 5-date European tour.
Arguably the biggest name in Japanese metal, MAXIMUM THE HORMONE are renowned for their wild breakneck sound that blends metal with elements of punk, thrash, and pop.
Not taking themselves too seriously, their music features tongue in cheek takes on themes like weight loss, Frieza from Dragon Ball Z, and sperm.
They broke out onto the international stage in 2007 with the release of their 3rd studio album Bu-ikikaesu which featured hit tracks What’s Up, People?! and Zetsubō Billy.
Their last album Yoshū Fukushū, released in 2013, was the band’s first release to go platinum in Japan selling over 300,000 copies.
Their 2021 track KAMIGAMI was used as the opening for the Netflix exclusive anime Record of Ragnarok.
Starting in Paris on June 10th, the band will also take to stages in Barcelona, Koln, London, and Hellfest Festival in Clisson.
