SixTONES have released their 15th single ‘BOYZ’, now available on streaming platforms worldwide. The track also serves as the opening theme for season two of WIND BREAKER, the anime adaptation of Satoru Nii’s hit manga, currently streaming in select regions on Crunchyroll.
A fast-paced pop-rock track, ‘BOYZ’ echoes the adrenaline-fuelled energy of the series, capturing themes of youthful defiance and determination. It’s also the group’s first single to receive a simultaneous digital and CD release in Japan, reflecting a push toward greater international reach.
Alongside the single, the group’s variety series Golden SixTONES has launched globally on Netflix. Produced in collaboration with broadcaster NTV, the show features members Jesse, Taiga Kyomoto, Hokuto Matsumura, Yugo Kochi, Shintaro Morimoto, and Juri Tanaka in weekly episodes that include games, challenges and guest segments. Two episodes are currently available to stream.
The official music video for ‘BOYZ’, released on May 2nd, has surpassed 7 million views on the group’s YouTube channel.
