MiKU, a cherished member of the WACK-affiliated idol group MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN TONAi BOUSHO a.k.a. MONSTERIDOL, has announced her withdrawal from the group and the agency. The news has left fans saddened yet supportive of MiKU’s decision.
Before the news broke, rumours online had started to spread about MiKU’s health due to her absence from live appearances and the group’s social media posts.
Citing the deterioration of her chronic illness, MiKU shared a touching message on the group’s official website. She expressed gratitude for the support received from fans and reflected on her struggles with an anxiety disorder, which ultimately led to her decision to step down from her idol activities.
In her poignant message, MiKU conveyed her frustration at not being able to fulfil her ambitions fully but expressed hope for a future where she can prioritise her well-being and pursue happiness without fear.
The departure of MiKU leaves a void in MONSTERIDOL, a group known for its light-hearted performances and energetic presence. However, the remaining members—Aika The Spy, Nao Of Nao, Leona Empire, and Momoti Ngale—remain committed to the group, supported by a dedicated fanbase.
“Everyone, I apologize for this sudden announcement. Since May of last year, I have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder (panic disorder). After taking a break and with your support, I was able to return to the stage. Thank you so much.
To those who have given me warm words of encouragement, and to those who have recently shown concern, I am deeply grateful. At this timing, having to give up due to a doctor’s recommendation, I can’t help but feel frustrated and regretful for what I couldn’t accomplish. There were days when my mind and body didn’t synchronize. I still had so much I wanted to do. It’s truly frustrating.
From now on, I intend to live pursuing warm happiness without being afraid of illness. I aim to find my own worth in places far removed from stimulating words and actions, and from a stimulating world. Thank you for crossing paths with me. If we meet again somewhere, let’s have tea together.”

The news comes after the recent announcement that MONSTERIDOL would be performing at ‘WACK in the UK Vol.3′, the agency’s only international event held in the heart of London.
