Ado announces 2025 ‘Hibana’ world tour, the largest ever by a Japanese artist

Fresh off the release of her double A-side single, Ado has unveiled plans for her second world tour, ‘Hibana’, scheduled to run from April to August 2025. Spanning over 30 cities across Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America, this will be the largest global tour ever undertaken by a Japanese artist.

Ado’s upcoming ‘Hibana’ world tour is a monumental step up from her previous ‘Wish’ tour, with the size of the venues reflecting her growing global reach. In the UK, Ado will perform at the iconic O2 Arena in London, which boasts a 20,000 capacity—more than six times larger than her UK debut performance. Across Europe and North America, she’ll also be performing in some of the continent’s largest arenas.

The tour kicks off with two performances at Saitama Super Arena on April 26th and 27th, with pre-sale tickets available from October 28th via Ado’s ‘DOKI DOKI SECRET BASE’ “secret” fan club. Moreover, a teaser video and tour visuals created by ORIHARA have also been released via Ado’s social media channels.

‘Hibana’, which translates to “spark,” represents Ado’s ambition to ignite change on a global scale, following the success of her last world tour. In a comment, Ado expressed her excitement for the tour, noting her growth since ‘Wish’ and her desire to deliver an even more impactful series of performances.

“I originally debated naming the tour ‘Spark’. In English, the phrase “spark a revolution” is often used to describe igniting change or starting something impactful. The word “spark” is frequently associated with lighting a fire, setting things in motion, or initiating a movement.

If my first world tour ‘Wish’ was about expressing a desire or dream, then the next step for me is to spark something as a Japanese artist on the global stage. I wanted to convey the idea of being like a spark—small, but powerful and capable of becoming the catalyst for something bigger. That’s why I chose the Japanese word ‘Hibana’ (which means “spark”). It also reflects my wish to bring Japan to the world, so I kept the title in Japanese.

I’m excited to show how much I’ve grown since ‘Wish’, and I want to share that with audiences around the world. I’m also committed to creating the best live experience possible once again.”

Pre-sale tickets for global fans will open on November 19th, with general sales starting on November 22th. For more ticket information, check out the official Ado WORLD TOUR 2025 ‘Hibana’ website.
