Japanese alternative rock trio Hitsujibungaku have announced their first-ever US tour, set to take place in April 2025. Titled Hitsujibungaku US West Coast Tour 2025, the band will perform in four West Coast cities, beginning in San Diego on April 10th and concluding in Portland on April 16th. Canadian pop singer Jonathan Roy will join the tour as the opening act for each show.
The announcement follows a significant year for Hitsujibungaku, who recently completed the Hitsujibungaku ASIA TOUR 2024, an 11-city run across the region. The group also made their US debut in December 2024, performing their first solo concert in Honolulu, Hawaii.
After wrapping up their West Coast tour, Hitsujibungaku will appear at Sakura-Con 2025, the oldest and largest anime convention in the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle Convention Center in Washington will host the convention from April 18th-20th, 2025. The event celebrates Asian culture through anime, gaming, and music, drawing tens of thousands of fans each year.

Beyond their U.S. tour, Hitsujibungaku are set to perform at VIVA LA ROCK 2025 and METROCK 2025 in Japan. The band are also slated to perform at the MTV VMAJ ceremony this year, where they will be awarded “Best Rock Video” for their song ‘Burning’, which served as the ending theme for the second season of the anime Oshi no Ko.
