Former Galileo Galilei guitarist Iwai Fumito has released his first full album TIME MACHINE as a digital exclusive.
The album started production soon after his band FOLKS suspended activities back in 2018.
Containing 13 tracks, TIME MACHINE is a gentle and romantic pop concept album that explores universal fears, depression, as well as love and relationships that everyone with experience in their lifetime.
The album sees Fumito play with different genres as he switches between slick rock tunes, piano led ballads, and hip-hop jazz fusion instrumentals.
As well as being part of two major label bands, Fumito is also the founder of FOLKS Inc., a video and music production house based in Hokkaido who has made music videos for BBHF, SULLIVAN’s FUN CLUB, TRiFOLiUM and more.
TIME MACHINE is a fully independent release by Fumito who wrote, composed, recorded, mixed and mastered every song as well as produced the photography, jacket visuals, and plans to release a music video in the near future.
