Soulflex beat maker/producer Mori Zentaro has released his 1st single Muddy Water featuring Kyoto born rapper Daichi Yamamoto.
Starting out in 2013 Mori Zentaro has produced sounds for some of Japan’s top pop and R&B artists such as SIRUP, Taichi Mukai, iri, MALIYA and more. He also leads Soulflex, an artist collective formed of singers, rappers, photographers and art directors.
Daichi Yamamoto is a Jamaican-Japanese rapper who after studying at the University of the Arts London returned to Japan in 2017 to pursue a career in hip-hop and joined record label Jazzy Sport. In 2021 he released his 3rd album WHITECUBE.
Hard and groovy beat production and solid rap flow runs through the whole of Muddy Water, making for a true bouncer of a track.
