ego apartment’s new single ‘the wire’ is a must hear rock/hip-hop blend

Indie unit ego apartment have released their 9th single the wire, an indie rock and hip-hop dance track that crosses musical borders.

The new single showcases groovy elements with peppy guitar phrases and funky basslines, before transitioning into mellow hip-hop with phasing synths and bassy beats.

Comprised of producer/bassist Dyna, and guitarists/vocalists Peggy Doll and Zen, the band released their first single 1998 in January 2021. With their combo of English lyrics, catchy melodies, and complex instrumentals they’ve become one of 2022’s most anticipated groups.

In the last year the band have gained a large audience on Spotify where their music has been featured on numerous Japanese and overseas playlists curated by the platform.
