4s4ki’s upcoming single ‘Magic sword’ selected as theme for smartphone game ‘Tap Hunter’

Hyperpop maestro 4s4ki’s upcoming single, ‘Magic sword’, has been chosen as the theme song for the smartphone game ‘Tap Hunter’. Scheduled for release on January 12th, 2024, the single will mark the third instalment of 4s4ki’s three-month consecutive release series.

‘Tap Hunter’, an app created for the 10th anniversary of the mobile MMORPG ‘Logres of Swords and Sorcery’, will showcase 4s4ki not only as the composer of the theme song but also as a character within the game. The cover art for ‘Magic Sword’ has been unveiled, featuring an illustration of 4s4ki’s in-game sprite.

‘Magic sword’ draws inspiration from the globally embraced “Jersey Club” genre. Known for its addictive melodies and playful lyrics, the genre experienced a resurgence in 2020, thanks to artists such as Lil Uzi Vert and social platforms like TikTok. The track promises a high-speed refrain, creating a musical frontier described as Jazzy Club Hyperpop with chaotic undertones.
