Rock troupe [Alexandros] have released their latest single, ‘todayyyyy’, in collaboration with popular smartphone game Monster Strike. The song, released on December 28th, showcases a blend of synth bass and electro elements, unique to the band’s trademark sound.

The music video for ‘todayyyyy’ premiered during the ‘Monst Music Night ’23→’24’ event on Monster Strike’s official YouTube channel on December 31st. Directed by Kensaku Kakimo, the video features the game’s new limited character ‘Masamune.’

Known for their free-thinking approach to music, the new single is only the band’s second release of 2023, making ‘todayyyyy’ highly anticipated among fans. In a recent interview, the band highlighted the significance of this release and expressed their excitement for the upcoming year, which includes hosting the music festival ‘THIS FES’ on October 26th–27th.

Taking place in frontman Yoohei Kawakami’s and guitarist Masaki Shirai’s hometown of Sagamihara, ‘THIS FES’ (formerly ‘THIS SUMMER FESTIVAL’) will commemorate the band’s 15-year journey since their debut and pay tribute to the city’s 70th anniversary.
