Ado has released her latest digital single, ‘Value’, along with an accompanying music video that’s turning heads.
Produced entirely on an iPad Pro, the music video showcases the remarkable talent of rising artist G-ko, who handled all illustrations and animations using apps like Procreate Dreams and CLIP STUDIO PAINT.

Produced and written by Vocaloid producer POLICE PICCADILLY, ‘Value’ delivers an addictive melody alongside Ado’s transcendent vocals, perfectly complemented by G-ko’s animation. Ado herself expressed astonishment at the video’s quality, stating, “You wouldn’t think it was made on an iPad”. The MV explores themes of human history, with G-ko’s indie anime/collage style depicting the evolution of mankind and the power of storytelling.

“While contemplating the grand theme of human history, I overlapped the evolution of humans and animals with the evolution brought about by the expression of ‘writing’ using the Apple Pencil. This led to the visualization of animations depicting humans starting to walk upright and carving lines in the sand, as well as the image of a girl being driven by something.”
