Japan’s metalcore titans, Crossfaith, continue their return to prominence with news of their highly anticipated new album, ‘AЯK’, scheduled to drop on June 26th. This marks the band’s first album release under their new formation.

‘AЯK’, symbolizing a new beginning for the band as they navigate their comeback, will serve as their first album in approximately six years since their last release, ‘EX_MACHINA’, in 2018. In February, the band announced the addition of former HER NAME IN BLOOD guitarist, Daiki Koide, to their lineup, following the departure of former bassist Hiroki Ikegawa.

Fans got a taste of what’s to come with the pre-release of the track ‘L.A.M.N’, which dropped on April 18th under the Australian label UNFD. Featuring vocals by Bobby Wolfgang of the UK band Strange Bones, the song further evolves the band’s signature rock and dance fusion.

The album artwork, a collaboration between graphic designers Kenneth Vanoverbeke and Timothée Boubay, sets the tone for the band’s second chapter.

In conjunction with the album announcement, Crossfaith have released dates for their ‘Crossfaith AЯK Japan Tour 2024’, their first nationwide tour since 2018. The tour will kick off on July 2nd at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA’, with a total of 26 performances spanning various cities across Japan.

Additionally, Crossfaith have revealed plans for their biggest mission yet – to hold their largest-ever solo concert and host a festival at Makuhari Messe on February 1st and 2nd, 2025.
