Crossfaith have been confirmed as part of the second wave of bands announced for Download Festival 2025, their first appearance at the UK’s biggest rock and metal festival since 2014. Taking place from June 13th to 15th at Donington Park, the festival will also be their first UK performance since their comeback early last year.
The Osaka metalcore outfit joins 22 newly announced acts, adding to the 90 already confirmed for the festival. Crossfaith will perform on the Avalanche Stage on Friday, alongside Trophy Eyes, Elliot Minor, Bad Nevers, and McFly. Fellow countrymen SiM will open the main stage that same day, while Survive Said the Prophet will take the Dogtooth Stage on Sunday.

Crossfaith’s return comes after a period of renewed momentum. They re-emerged in early 2024 with their single ‘ZERO’ and welcomed new guitarist Daiki Koide (formerly of HER NAME IN BLOOD). Their comeback continued with ‘AЯK’, their first album in six years, and an extensive Japan tour. This led to two major back-to-back shows at Makuhari Messe—their largest-ever one-man live show, OUR FAITH WILL NEVER DIE, on February 1st, followed by their self-produced festival, HYPER PLANET 2025, on February 2nd. The festival brought together international and domestic acts tied to Crossfaith’s 19-year history, including ENTER SHIKARI, UNDEROATH, Maximum the Hormone, ralph, WARGASM, coldrain, SiM, and more.

Their Download set kicks off a wider European festival run, including stops at Rock for people (Czech Republic), Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium), Jera On Air (Netherlands), Resurrection Fest (Spain), and EVIL LIVE FESTIVAL (Portugal).
With a refreshed lineup and a reputation for high-intensity live performances, Crossfaith’s return to the UK will be a major moment at Download Festival 2025, and a welcome reappearance for a band that was once a staple of the UK metalcore circuit.
