XANVALA have just unleashed their latest music video ‘JABARA’ ahead of their awaited 3rd full album ‘BANQUET’. The track has yet to receive a release across streaming services.
‘JABARA’ sees XANVALA return to a heavier and more intense sound than previous single ‘Rinpun’ which featured a dance rock-like vibe. Fans online have noted that it seems to be a sister song to their 2021 single ‘JANOME’, with a similar song structure, repeated lyrics like “samui samui…” and “kowai kowai…”, and similar videos. But don’t get us wrong, the songs sound vastly different in all, with ‘JABARA’ sounding much more refined and dramatic.

The band recently played at BugLug’s day festival ‘BUGSAMI’ (BugLug shusai Fes. Bagusami 2024). Notably, multiple band members who performed at the festival mentioned how this event felt like VK was in another golden age. XANVALA played 8 tracks there, including previous singles ‘Rinpun’ and ‘CULTURE’.

Additionally, XANVALA uploaded a preview of their upcoming 3rd album titled ‘BANQUET’. The full album is due for release on August 28th. ‘BANQUET’ features the singles ‘CULTURE’ and ‘R.I.P’, along with 11 new tracks, and is available for pre-order via CDJapan.
On top of this, the band are about to head out on their oneman Japan tour also named ‘BANQUET’. XANVALA have also announced their Halloween tour titled ‘ZOMVALA 2024′ which includes a special show for vocalist Tatsumi’s birthday on October 18th. They will also play at Leetspeak monsters’ ‘Halloween Party 2024’ on October 26th, alongside bands such as LUV PARADE and WANNYAN.
