Japanese post-hardcore veterans FACT have announced their long-awaited return to live touring with the FACT IS LIFE TOUR 2025, the band’s first nationwide tour in a decade. Spanning six dates across June and September, the tour will include stops in Chiba, Ibaraki, Tokyo, and Osaka.
The announcement follows the band’s reunion performance earlier today (December 8th) at Makuhari Messe during the second day of REDLINE ALL THE FINAL. The FACT IS LIFE TOUR 2025 kicks off on June 11th at KASHIWA PALOOZA in Chiba, followed by dates at mito LIGHT HOUSE, Toyosu PIT in Tokyo, and GORILLA HALL OSAKA.

About FACT
FACT’s return sparked excitement and a brief chart resurgence, with their genre-bending catalogue climbing Japan’s Spotify Daily Viral Songs chart. Building a global reputation with their blend of melodic hardcore, post-hardcore, and electronic influences, the band played a pivotal role in shaping Japan’s “loud rock” scene. Their self-titled debut under Vagrant Records in 2009 introduced them to a global audience, with tracks like ‘A Fact of Life’ earning cult status.
Years after their disbandment, FACT’s sound remains a key influence on bands both in Japan and internationally. Their legacy was highlighted on Bring Me The Horizon’s ‘POST HUMAN: NeX GEn’, where DAIDAI of Paledusk—a collaborator on the album—credited FACT as a significant inspiration for several tracks.

FACT’s reunion at REDLINE ALL THE FINAL was a major highlight of the festival, both for fans and industry insiders. Suzuki Kentaro, the festival’s organiser, revealed the effort it took to secure the band’s return. “Negotiations started two years ago,” Suzuki shared in a social media post. “There were ups and downs, but they ultimately agreed to perform. I am sincerely grateful”.
