FACT have announced a special one-off return to the stage at ‘REDLINE ALL THE FINAL’ in Chiba, nearly a decade after their disbandment.
A major force in Japan’s post-hardcore scene since their rise in the late 2000s, FACT will perform on December 8th at Makuhari Messe, marking the band’s first live appearance since their emotional farewell at ‘ROCK-O-RAMA 2015’.
Founded in 1999, FACT gained international recognition with their self-titled global debut in 2009 under Vagrant Records. Delivering an eclectic sound and sporting their now iconic Noh masks, FACT’s career spanned 16 years, where they secured a dedicated following in Japan and abroad. Though they split in 2015, FACT’s influence has only deepened, recently highlighted by their impact on bands like Bring Me The Horizon, who, as revealed by Paledusk guitarist DAIDAI, drew from FACT’s genre-defying approach on ‘Top 10 staTues tHat CriEd bloOd’ from their latest album ‘POST HUMAN: NeX Gen’.

Suzuki Kentaro, REDLINE’s organiser, shared his excitement about FACT’s return, explaining that it took two years of discussions to secure the reunion. In his announcement on social media, he expressed gratitude for the journey, remarking that FACT’s involvement would make the event a memorable conclusion to the REDLINE series, which began in 2010.
“If I hadn’t met this band, my career in the music industry might have taken a different path. They introduced me to so many bands. Since negotiations started two years ago, I’ve had countless conversations with each member. There were ups and downs, but they ultimately agreed to perform. I am sincerely grateful.
With passion, no matter what happens, never give up. I’ve had the privilege of attending all their rehearsals, held just once a month, and it’s been an incredible experience. Finally, that day is near.
We’ve gathered an epic lineup of 56 artists. Across Japan, there are many festivals and events, each one crafted with passion and dedication. This will be REDLINE’s final event, and we want these two days to live forever in everyone’s memory—as a unique celebration of rock culture. A one-of-a-kind experience that can’t be replicated.
Thank you for supporting REDLINE ALL THE FINAL.”
