DIV vocalist CHISA and Gravity vocalist Roku have teamed up for 2 collaboration videos as part of the ‘GRA war. – VS DIV -‘ project.
The singers worked together to cover each other’s songs, and released music videos alongside them on January 28th and 29th. Firstly was a duet cover of Gravity’s ‘Dengeki Shougeki LIGHTNING’ from their 2022 album of the same name. The next song was a duet cover of DIV’s ‘BUTTERFLY DREAMER’, originally featured on their 2015 album ‘SECRET’.
Notably, both videos were filmed and edited by DIV drummer Satoshi, and feature the DIV and Gravity vocalists singing together. The visuals are tailored for each song’s style, with ‘Dengeki Shougeki LIGHTNING’ being full of bright colours and comic book-like effects, while ‘BUTTERFLY DREAMER’ takes a darker approach with contrasting lights and deeper colours.
The project is in promotion of the bands’ upcoming 2 man show, also titled ‘GRA war. – VS DIV -‘. The concert will take place on February 17th at Ikebukuro EDGE.
The videos are available to watch now on the bands’ YouTube channels. ‘Dengeki Shougeki LIGHTNING’ is featured on Gravity’s channel, while ‘BUTTERFLY DREAMER’ is on DIV’s. Watch the DIV and Gravity collaborations below!
